Honoring Harold “Hackie” Reitman, M.D.

Dr. Reitman was not only a great leader and dedicated board member for over 30 years but also a loving family man. His commitment to family was as strong as his passion for the community.

Dr. Reitman’s kind spirit and unwavering commitment were fundamental to the way he lived, and it was contagious. His example inspired all of us to lead with empathy, generosity, and purpose. What he has done for Boys & Girls Club of Broward County will always be remembered. His vision for providing a safe, nurturing space for the youth in our area led to the creation of the Harold “Hackie” Reitman M.D. Club, a testament to his dedication and compassion. When you think of an exemplary individual with unwavering passion and love for children, it is easy to think of Dr. Reitman.

Our hearts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched and the positive impact he made on our community.
