Rear Admiral Ryan M. Perry
Visits His former Club!

Rear Admiral Ryan Perry, a proud alumni of the William E. Slaughter Club / S. Robert Levine Campus, recently returned during Fleet Week to share his inspiring journey and experiences from his career in the U.S. Navy. By speaking with our Club members, he not only educated them about military service but also highlighted the values of leadership, discipline, and patriotism.

We are grateful to the Admiral for taking the time to connect with our Club members and teens and for his continued commitment to serving both his country and community.

Generals Construction Career Day

Our Generals Construction Career Day (GCCD) was a huge success, with the help of 15 top construction companies leading hands – on activities for over 150 teen Club members. Activities included crane operation, masonry/forming, carpentry, air conditioning, steel construction, electrical, and more! Thank you to all our community partners and Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County for joining us. This event was made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship from The Promise Neighborhoods and the City of Lauderhill. We appreciate your continued support!

Fanatics: Global Volunteer Day

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Fanatics for choosing BGCBC for the 4th annual Global Volunteer Day!

Huge shoutout to the dedicated Fanatics volunteers who rolled up their sleeves—revitalizing our spaces & making a difference for our youth & teens.

20-30 volunteers spent the day at our Rita & Rick Case Club, Harold “Hackie” Reitman, MD Club & Carver Ranches Club to support our mission.

It’s because of partnerships like these that we are able to positively impact our youth/community!

Congratulations to your BGCBC, Youth of the Year, Roosevelt reaching the State Youth of the Year Competition and our amazing teens for being a part of National Days of Advocacy “Advocating for the Future: A Visit to Florida’s Capitol”

Jersey Mike’s: Day of Giving Total

We are beyond ecstatic to see $145,494 coming back to BGCBC from the Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving! We cannot thank Jersey Mike’s & our incredible supporters enough for making this happen.

Family Fun Day

Our Family Strengthening Program empowers families by providing valuable resources, training, and effective communication techniques. This helps both our Club members and their families thrive and reach their full potential. We thank Children’s Services Council of Broward County for the continued partnership to help keep this program going strong and being a part of our Family Fun Day! Thank you Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) and Florida Blue and all the community partners for your time and belief in our mission!

GenYou is an exclusive network of dynamic professionals and Boys & Girls Clubs alumni who are united in shaping the future for our community’s youth. We are building what we call the Blue Network—a powerful force of leaders dedicated to giving back, growing together, and making an impact.

Recently, we had our GenYou Kickoff Connection Event at YOLO Restaurant and had a great turnout. Can’t wait to connect with more changemakers at our future events.
