Annual Career Day
Our Annual Career Day took place at American Heritage School, where more than 150 teen Club Members participated in a dynamic day of career exploration. Representatives from 21 companies and organizations delivered interactive presentations across a wide range of fields, including aviation, law, STEM, cosmetology, and more.
A special feature of the day was Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County Career Closet Station, led by Hans Dorval, Ed.D., Senior Workforce Training and Development Coordinator with Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development. Dr. Dorval shared valuable tips on how to dress for an interview, and teens had an exciting opportunity to shop around for professional outfits, helping them feel confident and prepared for future career opportunities.
In addition to the career presentations, our mini job fair featured companies like Pollo Tropical, Old Navy, and Advanced Roofing, offering real-world insight into employment options for teens.
We are deeply grateful to all the organizations that contributed to this impactful day.
