At Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, each of our graduates represents perseverance, growth, leadership, and the promise of a bright future. We are incredibly proud to take part in BGCA’s national campaign locally through “Broward County Graduates With Club Kids.” Our teens work hard every day to build strong foundations for success in school, in their communities, and in life.
Our Clubs and Teen Centers are committed to preparing young people for more than graduation day. Through academic support, mentorship, and workforce development opportunities, Club members gain the tools they need to pursue their goals with confidence. Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County’s Workforce Development Initiative helps teens strengthen employability through career exploration, mentorship, credential opportunities, soft skills training, technical skills development, and real-world career experiences.
That support is making a meaningful impact. Nationally, 97% of Club members expect to graduate high school, and 88% of Club teens say they feel ready to go on to college or secure a career opportunity with the tools they need. These numbers reflect the power of consistent encouragement, practical preparation, and opportunities that help young people see what’s possible for their future.
As we honor our graduates, we also celebrate every Club kid who is discovering their talents, developing confidence, and preparing for what comes next. From college and career readiness to character and leadership growth, Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County is helping shape the next generation of changemakers, professionals, and community leaders.
