Bringing Project Learn to Life
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment that supports their full potential. That is why we are incredibly grateful for the continued partnership of Panda Cares, whose commitment to youth success has helped create meaningful opportunities for our members both inside and outside the classroom. Their support reflects a shared mission to ensure that all youth have access to quality learning experiences that prepare them for bright futures.
Because of this partnership, many of our members were able to participate in meaningful and memorable learning experiences that made a real impact. From zoo field trips to hands-on projects to various outside exhibitions our Club members were able to explore, each experience helped spark curiosity, build confidence, and expand learning beyond the walls of the Club. From hands-on activities to intentional academic engagement, our incredible dedicated staff truly helped bring Project Learn to life across our Club sites.
Project Learn is designed to strengthen academic enrichment and school engagement during the time young people spend at the Club. Through high-yield learning activities such as leisure reading, writing, homework help, tutoring, discussions with caring adults, and games that build cognitive skills, the program helps members connect learning with confidence, creativity, and growth. With Panda Cares’ support, these experiences become even more impactful for the youth we serve throughout Broward County.
The impact of Panda Cares extends far beyond individual activities. Nationally, Panda Cares has contributed more than $62 million since 2020 to strengthen academic programming, support Project Learn, establish Panda Cares Centers of Hope, and provide scholarships for youth across the country.
Project Learn is designed to strengthen academic enrichment and school engagement during the time young people spend at the Club. Through high-yield learning activities such as leisure reading, writing, homework help, tutoring, discussions with caring adults, and games that build cognitive skills, the program helps members connect learning with confidence, creativity, and growth. With Panda Cares’ support, these experiences become even more impactful for the youth we serve throughout Broward County.
For our Clubs in Broward County, this partnership represents belief in the potential of our members. Belief in the power of education. And belief that when communities come together with purpose, young people can dream bigger and achieve more.
