Eddie Jones enjoyed a distinguished 14-year career in the NBA, playing for several teams including the Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat, and Memphis Grizzlies.

Eddie’s impact, however, extends far beyond basketball. As a proud alumnus of Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, Eddie has remained a steadfast supporter of the mission of his Thomas D. Stephanis Club. Here are just a few ways Eddie has made a difference:
- Upgrading the Facility:
Eddie’s financial support has enabled crucial upgrades to the Thomas D. Stephanis Club, including air conditioning repairs, new bleachers for the gymnasium, and complete renovations to the boys’ and girls’ restrooms, creating a more welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone. - Holiday Toy Drives:
During the holiday season, Eddie has regularly donated toys. His generosity has brought smiles to countless faces and provided a sense of hope and community to children in need. - Mentorship and Outreach:
Beyond his financial contributions, Eddie has taken the time to mentor our Club members. He frequently speaks with the youth, sharing his own life story, offering guidance, and providing invaluable advice. Eddie’s presence at Club functions, where he builds personal relationships with the kids, shows his unwavering dedication to their success—not just in sports, but in life.
